On Saturday, Oct. 18, 2025, the award-winning Memorial HS "Pride of the Westside" Marching Band competed in the UIL Region 11 Marching Contest at Rutledge Stadium in Converse, Texas. The band and guard earned a Superior, First Division UIL Trophy for their performance of a four movement work entitled, "Heartland." The Minutemen Band and Guard now advance to the AREA UIL Marching Contest at Calallen High School in Corpus Christi on Saturday, October 25th.
