The band hit the field at Calallen Wildcat Stadium for the Area UIL 4A Marching Contest this past weekend. They proudly performed and were honored with an Area UIL Marching Performance Award.

Bringing the heat! Huge congrats to MHS seniors Leslie Hernandez and Angely Serrato for snagging the Flavor Fusion award at the St. Philip's College Salsa Invitational! 🌶️🎉
Competing against students from across San Antonio, Leslie and Angely showed off their skills in the SPC Culinary Lab, crafting an original salsa that wowed the judges with its bold and creative flavor combo. We’re so proud of their unique twist on the recipe — way to represent!

On Saturday, Oct. 18, 2025, the award-winning Memorial HS "Pride of the Westside" Marching Band competed in the UIL Region 11 Marching Contest at Rutledge Stadium in Converse, Texas. The band and guard earned a Superior, First Division UIL Trophy for their performance of a four movement work entitled, "Heartland." The Minutemen Band and Guard now advance to the AREA UIL Marching Contest at Calallen High School in Corpus Christi on Saturday, October 25th.
